Airport Security

This is a really fun game that helps the player identify which items you can and cannot bring on an airplane. This is a serious game because it teaches the playing something while they are playing. The person comes up to the security checkpoint and you have to pick which items they are allowed to proceed through the gate with. This game should be played by not only travelers, but the security guards that have to check them. This will help them keep and eye out for forbidden items.

Darfur Is Dying

The more I play this game, the more I realize the tragedy that the Sudanese face everyday. While playing this game, you may feel like laughing or smiling but in reality, this is what is happening everyday of these people's lives. This is definitely a serious game because it teaches its players what it feels like to be in Darfur on a daily basis. We take so many things for granted and don't think that about the horrible things that are really going on. This is a great game to play to teach people to be a little bit more understanding and more knowledgable about worldly issues.

ID The Creep

This game is great because it can teach young kids and students to identify creepers using: IM, chat, or email. The computer chooses people to "chat" with the player and they have to decide whether or not the person is good or bad. This game would be considered a serious game because it can be used in the classroom to teach young students to weed out the spam emails and chats they receive. I recomend this game for teachers because it will help children make better decisions the next time they go online.
